Skin Care Products
Today we use skin care products with out thinking about when or how they were invented. Using skin care products has become a way of life. Mankind started using skin care products to support them in their daily occupations. Farmers and fishermen used skin care products as their skin was constantly exposed to extreme weather conditions.
There are many different skin types and therefore a variety of skin care products. Our skin varies in thickness all over our body. So you need different products to heal cracked skin on your heels and face. The cells on our skin die and fall and new cells grow in their place. You need to keep your skin healthy as it also carries out several other functions besides acting as a shield and a sensory organ.
We can divide skin types into four categories. In order to have a healthy skin you will have to treat it with skin care products in accordance with your skin type. To begin with, normal skin type is the most common skin type. Here your skin is neither flaky nor oily. There is a fine tuning between oil and the moisture in your skin. It looks clean and free from any inflammations. This skin type does indeed need care but you can afford to be a little less careful here.
Oily skin secretes a lot of sebum. There is a lot of oil on the skin surface and your skin is prone to pimples. To reduce the oily effects on the skin it is very important to cleanse it.
Dry skin is the third skin type. Here the skin is unable to maintain a balance in retaining moisture. This results in itchy skin that is susceptible to fine lines and wrinkles. You need to constantly replenish moisture to your skin.
The fourth type is a combination of both skin types. It forms a “T” shape on your face covering the forehead nose and chin areas. All these areas have either oily or dry skin.
Normal skin does not appear greasy. It looks moist. Your complexion will be clear and so you need to treat your skin with gentle care. The skin care products you use must not hydrate your skin too much. Foaming cleansers and sunscreen lotions with SPF15 will definitely maintain the beauty of your skin.
Oily skin is always a problem. Too much of sebum secretion attracts dirt and grime. This skin is more prone to inflammation; so you need to keep it toxin free. Clarifying facial washes and moisture balance lotions should help control excess secretion.
In case of dry skin the sebaceous glands do not secrete enough natural oils. This causes fine lines to appear early in life. So skin care products that hydrate your skin more should be used. Skin products such as hydra cleansing emulsion cleansers and maximum complex lotions should be applied. You need to use a skin care product that enhances your complexion and erases any abnormalities in your skin tone.
